Shawl Blues

Okay, so I finally finished the shawl and I did get it finished before the shower. The bride wore it at the wedding dance and it was beautiful and just what she needed for a chilly evening. She also got a lot of compliments on it. I was just happy to see her wear it. So why am I blue? I gave it away. It turned out great and I would have really liked it myself.

The pattern is Fibertrends Lace Leaf Shawl. I really like the pattern and was very easy to complete--especially after I took out the stitch markers and learned to just read the yarn. The yarn is a silk/merino blend that is hand-dyed and spun. The model is me, the photographer is my husband. I need a new photographer. I just uploaded the halloween pics and they are awful. At least the ones where I am not taking the picture are. Have to train #1 spawn.
