No Naked Looms!
I can't handle having a naked loom! So today I finished warping what I started last night:
So if I put a new warp on, what came off??
This is 100% cotton set at 36 epi. I think it is destined to be tea towelss. This is some new stuff and I need to test it our first. Here is a close-up:
I am pleased with it overall, if it absorbes water well. There is some variation due to the winding of 3 different colors of 16/2 together. I used a 12 dent reed.

ooh... I'm so tempted to try weaving! My grandma is a real weaving wizard, but the only thing I've ever tried is a little bit of poppana (is there an english word for that?) for a table cloth. Looms are just usually so huge, but maybe one of these table models would be a good place to start. Where did you get yours? What's the widest fabric you can make on that? I love the blue/green tea towel fabric!
Thanks, Brandi, on all the info you left on my blog! I'll have to take a look at those looms on my way sometime when I'm driving to MPLS.
